The entertainment industry is a multi-billion dollar enterprise that sports a diverse community of talented individuals. Whether live action or animated, the artists behind memorable characters are noteworthy for their determination and tireless effort in assuming roles to give people the enjoyment of seeing their favorite characters come to life. While some stars act in front of the camera, others make magic inside the studio—and on the microphone—using their supreme vocal abilities. Sisters Cassie and Sabrina Glow, more popularly known in the industry as the Glow Girls, are acclaimed voiceover artists and singers. The duo started their careers in Florida, which is not a primary market for the VO industry. However, by continually pursuing their passion they have already collaborated with several entertainment giants for hundreds of projects across the globe. At just 14 and 12 years of age they have already earned bookings with major networks and brands—including Disney, Nick Jr., Morphle TV, Sesame Street, LEGO, PBS Kids, NBC/Universal Kids, Fisher Price, Amazon Prime, Spotify, Apple TV+, Hallmark and more.
Taking their careers up a notch, the sisters constructed a professional home studio to continue servicing their global client portfolio. The younger sister, Sabrina, landed the long-standing lead role in the preschool animated series, My Magic Pet Morphle, a character she has brought to life for over five years. The production has graced major streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV+, and has amassed over 5 billion views on YouTube alone. For Cassie’s most recent project, she was selected as the voice for the new Mini Brands product line by toy industry leader, ZURU Toys. The campaign launch is continuously gaining attention with over 3 million views on social media to date. In the production, Cassie performs three distinct voices that come as an effortless task for the young professional.
The Glow Girls’ VO acting has earned them recognition from the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS), the most prestigious award association in the VO industry. Cassie and Sabrina were the youngest ever to receive multiple SOVAS nominations. Both were nominated for their Outstanding Body of Work, Sabrina earned a nomination for Outstanding Commercial Demo Voiceover, and Cassie won the Outstanding Toy Voiceover category.
The Glow Girls are currently working with top industry coaches to strengthen their skills and are now venturing to other spheres of the business like creative writing, drawing, and composing original music. These preparations will lay a groundwork for their would-be self-run animated musical adventure.
The duo continues to be sought-after talents by animation studios, production studios, creative agencies, and streaming services that target the kids’ market. They are currently partnering with a major streaming network for an animated series already in production, and are both working with another development team to launch a musical animated series targeted for 2021. With a top-notch reputation and exceptional work ethics, the Glow Girls are well-positioned for more breakthroughs in the future. For more information about Cassie and Sabrina Glow, visit their website.
